Further towns in the neighbourhood of Santa Ponsa are Costa de la Calma and Paguera.
Costa de la Calma means calm coast and is situated adjacent to Santa Ponsa. Quiet living just a few minutes’ drive or even a walk to restaurants and the coast, as well as to Santa Ponsa with shops of everyday needs. Costa de la Calma is a place of residence, here are mostly villas, partly with panoramic sea views. The village is located on a hillside and offers a magnificent panoramic view over the landscape and the sea. An idyllic bay with beach bar “Chiringuito” offers sunbeds and pure sunsets – open in the summer months.
Paguera is a popular holiday place with a choice of 3 beautiful beaches, Playa Tora, Playa Palmira and Playa La Romana. A long shopping street “Boulevard de Paguera” with shops and restaurants is behind the beach promenade . The beaches are connected by a path. Paguera is a lively resort and majority of visitors are German.
The idyllic bay of Cala Fornells is adjacent with only less hotels, a small beach and apartment complexes, partial built by Pedro Otzoup in Mediterranean style. Within a short drive is Camp de Mar with the golf course Golf de Andratx and sandy beach.
